Supplies Needed:

Motherboard

Case

Powersupply

RAM

CPU

Heat Sink

Thermal Paste

Speaker

Place Power supply inside of the case, and arrange the wires as seen fit (align the speaker with the screw holes on the case)

Place the CPU into the CPU socket on the motherboard, and align the triangle on the CPU with the white triangle on the socket

Push down silver latch over CPU and lock it in place with the silver bar

Add a very small amount of thermal paste to the top of the CPU

Place the ram into the slot and push it in until it clicks

Place heat sink over CPU and line up the screws to the holes on the motherboard and screw them in to lock it in place, then plug it in

Place the motherboard into the PC Case and screw it in with the standoff holes (Must line up with IO Shield)

Plug in the 24 Pin connector to the designated spot

Plug in fan with the MOLEX connector

Plug in the SATA connector to the designated spot

Plug in the 8 Pin connector to the designated spot on the motherboard

Plug in Speaker to the correct pins

Plug in the system panel connectors and align up the correct pins to the correct spot

Finish plugging in the cables into the motherboard, and then test if the computer turns on after putting on the side panel

Common Issues:

  1. Computer wont turn on
  2. Is the power cable plugged in all the way?
  3. Is the power switch turned on?
  4. Is the CPU not put in properly?
  5. Is there power to the motherboard?
  6. Wont connect to the monitor
  7. Is the correct cable connected?
  8. Is the monitor powered?
  9. Are the cables fully plugged in?
  10. RAM Issues
  11. Is it fully connected on both sides?
  12. Is it in the right way?
  13. Is it the right RAM?
