Have you ever been bored out of your mind? Have some spare boxes? Well I have the solution for you! You can make a miniature robot, for various purposes, like decoration or even as a toy. Today I will show you how to build one.

Supplies

-Paintbrush

-Tarp

-Bowl/Water

-Square tissue box

-Small box (like one in photo)

-Acrylic Paint

-4 Toilet Paper Rolls

-1/4 of a Toilet Paper Roll

-Glue/Tape

-Scissors

Painting/Art

You want to start by getting out your tarp, and starting to paint your boxes. I used pink acrylic paint. I would suggest that you interchange, painting one coat on one box, and after that, paint one on the other box while it dries. You should continue for 2-3 coats. I did 3 because my boxes had some dark colors. Paint in large strokes with a fairly big brush. (Keep in mind that the pictures are the first coat of paint). Once your paint is dry, you should draw a face on the smaller box (Photo Attached).

Gluing the Arms On

The next step would be to start gluing things together. First, make a cut like the one above (Photo 1), diagonally to make the arms. Next, glue it on so that the arm is facing downwards diagonally, (Photo 2). Repeat for the other side. I used Craft glue, because it was the easiest way to glue precisely. When both are finished it should look like Photo 3.

Gluing the Legs On

Basically the same deal as the arms, except this time it's straight and easier. Just glue like the last one, and you'll be fine. If you have a small box, make sure you glue the legs so it will be stable.

Glue Neck on Head, and Glue Head on Body

In the supplies section, I said to use 1/4 of a toilet paper roll. This is where this comes into play. Glue the roll onto the neck, so it matches the picture. (Photo 1) Then, Glue that onto the body (Photo 2). Finally, you have your Robot! You can do whatever you want with it. Give them a name and have fun with your new friend!
