How to CARVE a PUMPKIN Jack-o-Lantern 1950s Style!

Here's how we used to carve Halloween Pumpkins in the 1950's in New York! There are so many more glamorous pumpkins nowadays, but this is how the typical pumpkin was carved back then. Pretty easy to do, we would usually spread newspaper on the floor and all work together on the pumpkin, it was a family thing. Back then we used crayons to outline in black.
