For this project, you will need:

  1. Normal thermoplastic
  2. A pot
  3. About a liter water
  4. Colored Thermoplastic Beads

Mix the Ingredients

This project is actually really easy. I wrote this to piggyback off of an instructable a did about casting molds with thermoplastic. Here's the link: https://www.instructables.com/id/Casting-Molds-With-Thermoplastic/. Anyway, her's what you need to do.

  1. Pour the water into the pot. Set the pot to boil for about 10 minutes.
  2. Put in about a cup of thermoplastic into the pot. Stir it around until it turns clear.
  3. Now you need to add in your colored thermoplastic. Keep stirring until the clear plastic turns the same color as the beads you put in. If the new plastic mix is only a light version of the color you want, don't worry. The color really comes in once the mix hardens.

Alright, thats pretty much it. I hope this helped you out and, as always, Happy Making!
