How to Cook a Savoury French Toast Breakfast Sandwich
This is my ultimate breakfast sandwich.
You get the best of a bacon and egg sandwich with French toast.
To Start Off You’ll Need to Cook Some Bacon.
Lay outstrip of bacon on a tray lined with paper towel.
Place in the own under the grill until crispy.
Next finely slice some chives.
Next to Make the Egg Mixture.
In a bowl add:
- 1/2 cup milk.
- Three eggs.
- Chives.
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder.
- 1 tsp garlic powder.
Whisk together making sure all of the eggs and milk are combined.
This amount of mixture is enough for at least 3 sandwiches.
Slice Some Crusty Bread, Two Per Sandwich.
Place a Pan of Medium Heat, Add Some Butter.
Clarified Butter will work best; you can find a link to the recipe in the description.
Dip the bread into the egg mixture, make sure to turn it over and let it soak up as much as it can.
Transfer to the Pan.
Cook on the first side until it’s golden brown.
Flip and brown the other side.
To finish it off move the French toast onto a tray.
Place in the oven set to 390f or 200c until the bread has crisped up.
Fry Two Eggs Over High, Flip and Remove From the Heat.
All That’s Left to Do Is Build This Sandwich.
The first piece of French toast, followed by the bacon, eggs and top with the other slice of French toast.
There You Have It! Savoury French Toast Breakfast Sandwich.
This sandwich is my version of the ultimate breakfast sandwich, from the crispy bacon to the savoury French toast, it had it all.
