How to Do a Roller Set

Today I'm going to show you how to do a roller set.

The supplies you will need are:

• any size rollers your client desires
• two hair clips
• a rat tail comb
• a styling comb

Start by washing the hair to get it wet and also to make sure the hair is clean.

You will want to comb the hair after washing to get any knots out before you section the hair.

Then you want to section the hair like a mohawk and put the two side section in clips to get them out of the way.

With the middle section, part the section horizontally about half an inch to one inch with the rat tail comb.

Once you section the middle section, you will get a roller and start rolling the end of the hair onto the roller toward you. You will do this with the whole head.

Sit the client under a dryer and allow them to dry for 15 to 20 minutes.

Pull the rollers out gently, not pulling the client's hair.
