How to Do a Single Crochet
I’m going to show you guys how to do a single crochet.
Supplies
What you will need is Yarn, Crochet hook and Pair of scissors. You can use any type of yarn and any size hook you want.
Make a Slip Knot
To make a slip not, you have to wrap around your finger twice, you take the first loop and pull over the second loop. You take the second loop and pull it over the first loop.
Make a Chain
You can do as many chains as you want. To do a chain you take your yarn and your wrap it around and you pull it through the second loop. I’m chaining 10 for the practice.
Single Crochet
To do a single crochet you go into the chain and you pull up a loop you take your yarn you wrap around your hook and you pull 2 loops together. you’re going to single crochet each chain across.
Turn Your Work
Once row 1 is complete, you’re going to chain 1 and turn your work. You’re going to single crochet in the second stitch. You go in to the second stitch you pull up a loop you wrap around and you pull though both loops. Keep practicing until you get it. You can do as many rows as you want.
Fasten Off
I did 4 rows of single crochet and now I’m going to show you how to fasten off. To fasten off, you wrap around and pull it through tightly. That’s how you do a single crochet.
