How to Draw a Maze

These are directions on how to draw a simple maze. All you need is a pencil and paper.

Outline

$C:\Documents and Settings\Dan.MIDDLE\My Documents\My Pictures\maze 1.bmp$

Draw a square. Erase two wholes in it. I put mine in the corners as shown in the picture. This will be your entrance and exit.

Step 2

Draw another square inside the first square. Erase more holes in that square. I made 3 holes in mine.

Step 3

Draw more and more squares inside eachother. Yours should look pretty close to mine, other than the holes.

Different Shapes

Now you can draw different shapes inside that square. Erase holes in them too.

Step 5

Fill those in with squares. Erase holes in those too.

Highlight Your Route

$C:\Documents and Settings\Dan.MIDDLE\My Documents\My Pictures\maze 7.bmp$

Figure out where you want the only way through the maze to be. I highlighted mine.

Step 7

$C:\Documents and Settings\Dan.MIDDLE\My Documents\My Pictures\maze 7.bmp$

Now start drawing lines to close off paths other than the way through.

Finish

$C:\Documents and Settings\Dan.MIDDLE\My Documents\My Pictures\maze 8.bmp$

Finish drawing lines. You may have had to erase some more holes to make the maze more comfusing. Make sure there are no other ways through the maze. If there are, close it off with a line.

All Done!
