We Love Colors is bringing our factory to you, in the form of a pill! For the first time ever, you can get our professional grade acid dyes at home so you can dye anything made out of nylon, into any color or shade you desire. You can make tie dye or ombre tights, socks, thigh high's, and more! The dyes work on Nylon & Nylon / Polyester blends, and you can dye any of our products (tights, socks, leotards, unitards, shoe laces etc...)

Color Pills come in three colors: Red, Royal Blue and Yellow. Which means, you can mix and match the dyes to create any color you can dream of.

So, here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to dye nylon:

Supplies

Dissolve Pills in Water

Find a cooking pot large enough to fit the garment you want to dye so that it completely submerges in water. Drop your color pills in the water and stir until they are completely dissolved (the casing will dissolve, or alternatively, you can pop them open and pour the contents directly in the water if you choose, this second option is good if you are not very patient).

Please note: You can make any color, it may take some playing around to get your desired shade. For example if you want pink you can use the red and yellow pills. If you want to make green, the royal blue and yellow color pills and so on.

Add Your Nylon Garment

Stir constantly and boil for 30 minutes to obtain an even color. The longer you boil it the deeper the shade.

Rinse With Cold Water

Once you achieve your desired shade, rinse with cold water until the water is clear.

Please note: When you want to launder it, try to wash it on it’s own or with similar colors to prevent bleeding.
