How to Homebrew Your Nintendo Wii (4.3v)
By homebrewing a Nintendo Wii, you can make it into the ultimate media server, customize the Wii Menu and even provide brick protection. Though homebrewing does void your warranty, if done correctly, can work and not damage your system. This guide is going to help you install Homebrew with Letterbomb on Wiis running 4.3v.
Go to Your Wii
Go to the Wii Menu. Tap on the button on the bottom left corner of the screen, then Wii Options. Scroll to page 2 of Wii Options, then Internet. Go to Console Information, and then MAC Address. Note down your MAC Address, you are going to need it later. Resume to....
Get the Nessesary Files
On your Windows computer, connect your SD card, then go to please.hackmii.com. Select your SMV (System Menu Version), type your MAC Address, check the Bundle the HackMii installer for me! checkbox, do the CAPTCHA and cut either wire.
Files will start downloading. When the process is completed, extract the file and then move the extracted files to your SD card. Resume to....
Execute the HackMii Installer
Connect your SD card, then go back to the Wii Menu, tap on Wii Message Board, go back to yesterday with the - button on your Wii Remote, hover over the red envelope and press A. The screen will go black and text will appear on the screen, then the screen will change to the HackMii Installer scam notice, where you will wait 1-2min to press 1 on your Wii Remote, and when you do that, the HackMii installer will appear. Go to Install the Homebrew Channel, then install the Homebrew channel by pressing Install. Then go back to Main Menu, BootMii, and then try to install BootMii on boot2, which will provide brick protection. If you can't install BootMii on boot2, install BootMii as an IOS. Go to Main Menu and then Exit to exit to the Homebrew Channel.
That's It!
