How to Inflate Foil Balloons? Step-By-Step Easy Instruction
Perfect Decorations for parties are a great way to add mirth and excitement to your celebrations. Isn’t it? Moreover, adorning a party space with foil balloons and confetti makes everything more amusing and lively. Foil balloons are made up of a combination of thin metal sheets and coated with polyethylene or nylon. These balloon sheets are immensely thin, and sometimes it gets challenging to inflate them. So, in this blog, we will learn how to inflate foil balloons using a straw.
Supplies
- Foil Balloons
- Straw
Check for the Filling Tab on the Balloon
You can locate the filling tab at the bottom of the foil balloon. It is designed for you to easily inflate the balloons.
Precaution - Handle this with care as most people damage the balloon by trying to open the tab of the balloon harshly.
Insert a Straw Into the Tab
Once you’re able to locate the tab, insert a straw into the balloon to fill it up with air. Mostly, you will get the straw when you buy the foil balloon kit. In case, if you didn’t get it, you can use a drinking straw to fill air into the balloon. When you locate the filling tab of the balloon, separate the 2 plastic layers of the tab and insert the straw into it. Furthermore, make sure to insert the straw till you get beyond the internal seal of the balloon.
Ensuring Optimal Air Retention: Pinch the Straw From Both Sides
Once you carefully insert the straw into the balloon, it is crucial to employ a simple yet effective technique to maintain the desired inflation. By pinching the area around the straw from both sides, you can prevent the air from escaping and ensure a seamless and successful blowing process.
Blow Air Into the Balloon
So, get ready to blow air into the balloon through the straw. Take enough long breaths and repeat the process till you fully inflate the balloon. To ensure readiness, give the balloon a gentle squeeze to assess its firmness. If it feels adequately firm, then you can use it.
Precaution - Make sure to not fill the balloon too much because if you keep filling the air, it might burst.
Remove the Straw Carefully
Once you're done filling the balloon, you’re just one step close to using this as a decoration prop. Remove the straw gently while pinching the foil balloon on both sides. The balloon tab will automatically self-seal itself. You can now put them on the wall.
Your Foil Balloon Is Ready!
Now, your foil balloon is all ready to transform any space into an enchanting wonderland.
