How to Jam With a Myachi
What? Myogee? Myufee? No, silly, mee-ach-ee. It's basically a full body hacky sack, that basically anyone can learn! The only rule is NO PALMS ALLOWED! It's a 1.5 inch by 3.5 inch rectangular, sand filled sack, and comes in many various fabrics and colors. Many Toys R Us' across the country carry Myachi's if you're in the US, but if not, you can go to myachi.com and buy one off of their website for $7. After obtaining a Myachi, head on over to the next step.
Basics
Now remember before we start, that practice makes perfect. You're not going to leap off the diving board pulling off insane stunts and amazing miraculous tricks. Let's start off with the basics.
Cradle:
Now for the Cradle, the key is fluidity. You want to make sure that you're going through the motions nice and with some rhythm to it otherwise the sack might wobble or slide of your hand.
360:
The 360 is easily one of the more basic tricks, yet many people execute it wrongly. They wave their hand in a wrist snap instead of going up and around the sack. Once you get good, you can add a second rotation, or a third. Eventually making your way to 47. (That was a joke; maybe. We'll see in a million years ;P)
Cold Fusion:
The key to the Cold Fusion is TIMING. If your timing is off just s smidge, the sack will either clip the edge of your hand or miss altogether. And that only spells more trouble when you try to go faster.
PS: I got these off of the Myachi Channel on Youtube; there are a plethora of instructional videos just like these at your fingertips!

Advanced Moves
Once you've mastered the moves in the previous step, it's time to move onto some more advanced moves.
Under the Leg:
The key to the UTL (Under the Leg) is that you want to make sure you're getting all the way under your leg. Otherwise, you'll just end up hitting the underside of your leg, and who wants that?
Trampoline:
The main tip was said in the video: make sure you don't grab the bottom ridge of your shirt. Otherwise it'll get caught and eventually after getting tangled, somehow, someway, make it to the floor.
Behind the Back:
Key here is flexibility. No, you don't have to be some super contortionist, but some small amount of flexibility is needed. Hey, if my grandpa can do it, any one can!

Crazy Moves
Now I don't except anybody reading this to learn these soon, but here's some of the moves you can inspire to.
Daredevil:
Flying Clipper:
Now how AWESOME does that look? And that's only the beginning!

Combos
The key to everything is making everything look good. And how do you make these simple moves look good?
Combos, my friend. What's that you say?
Take the moves you learned and make a chain out of them! For instance, take a Under the Leg, but while it's still in the air, do a 360 around it! Or pop it up in a trampoline as it falls! Try these for size:
Behind the Back to Under the Leg to 360
360 to Cold Fusion to Trampoline
Under The Leg to Trampoline to 360
Up for a challenge? Try this:
Under the Leg to Under the Leg (Try different legs!) to Behind the Back to 720
Think of your own!

How to get G.R.E.A.T:
What does it take to be great? I have been thinking this up for a while and here is what I have determined.
There is a process to it, which I call the G.R.E.A.T. Process (Crazy, I know. lol) One thing to remember is that practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent. This means that you may not be perfect but you will be able to hit those trick everytime. Perfection is only an appearence. Anyway here it is:
G- Get One: The first step is to get a handsack, weather it is Myachi or Saceasi. You can't get great if you don't get one.R- Reserve some time: Since you have to practice to make it permanent, you are going to have to have some time.
E- Explore: Try out that new trick, or method of jamming. The forums are a great resource for good techniques. Post yours there.A- Accept: If you are doing a trick and you think its right,, that doesn't make it automatically right. If someone tells you it is wrong, it probably is. But look on the bright side, you just found out that you either made a new trick or learned a different one!
T- Training: Again, practice, practice, practice! You have to train with some new tricks before you are great.
I hope this will help some of you with getting great!
