When learning how to juggle for the first time, I came across numerous unhelpful and confusing online guides that just did not seem to fit my learning style. However, I eventually learned and now I want to share the steps I took to achieve my goal.

In this guide I will teach you how to juggle in five quick and easy steps that will make this process both fun and worthwhile.

Gather Your Materials

  • 3 balls of the same size (I like to use tennis balls)

Juggle With 1 Ball

Take one ball and practice throwing it back and forth from one hand to the other, just above eye level. Practice until comfortable with one ball.

Juggle With 2 Balls

Grab another ball, place one in each hand, and throw up either ball (just above eye level) to the opposite hand. When the first ball reaches its peak height, throw the second ball to the opposite hand. Practice until comfortable with two balls.

Time to Juggle With 3 Balls!

Place one ball in one hand and two balls in the opposite hand. Repeat the process as if you were only using two balls (scroll up to step 3), but when the second ball reaches its peak height, throw up the third ball. Continue to throw up the balls until you drop one or mess up. Then, try again!

Practice! Practice! Practice!

Continue to practice step 4 until you are very comfortable juggling with 3 balls. See how many you can get in a row!
