During this How To Instructable, Lijuan will learn how to complete first, second, third, fourth, and fifth ballet positions. Using interests of the ELL, Lijuan will enjoy learning English through her passion for dance. Lijuan will be using a buddy throughout the lesson. Lijuan's buddy is an English-speaking student. Her name is Rachel. Rachel will be learning Lijuan's native language (SEI and SIOP). Lijuan's teacher is using TPR through repetition of speaking, writing, listening, and reading. Lijuan will act out the steps, repeat the words in English and in Mandarin Chinese. Lijuan will write the steps out so Lijuan can practice anywhere she likes. It is given that Lijuan has a sense of correct feet placement for the ballet positions. Lijuan is refreshing her skills while learning English.
