Hello,

This is Kaycee and today I am going to show you how to make chocolate chip cookies! There are many different ways to make chocolate chip cookies! You can make them out of a bag, box, and homemade whatever works best for you!

When I was a little girl my sister and I would always sit on my grandma's counter and help her make cookies. We would always fight over who got to crack the egg or who would lick the spoon that had more cookie dough on it. I have always loved my grandma's cookies there are different from your ordinary cookie.

The best cookies are either with grandma or when someone else makes them. It is a lot of fun to do with family and friends and is very simple and quick.

There are many different types of cookies which makes it super fun. They are a fun thing to do with friends and family everyone gets to enjoy!

Gather Supplies and Ingredients

To make the perfect cookies there need to be both wet and dry ingredients which call for different types of measuring instruments. You will need flour, sugar, brown sugar, softened butter, vanilla, chocolate chips, baking soda, and eggs.

You will want to mix all of these ingredients into a large mixing bowl. To mix these ingredients properly you will want a spatula, mixing bowl, and a mixer. When the mix is done you will take your cookie scoop and place them on a cookie sheet. When the cookies are done you will place them on the cooling rack.

Prep

After you get all of your ingredients together you will want to pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. When the oven is pre-heated you want to spray the cookie sheet with cooking spray so that the cookies don't stick to the cookie sheet when they are done. Once you do this the cookies are ready to go on the pan and into the oven!

Combine Your Ingredients

You first want to measure out the flour, baking soda, and salt and add that to a large bowl. Then you put your softened butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla, into a separate bowl. When you get the butter out of the refrigerator you want to place it in the microwave to become softened. Once you have the ingredients mixed into a bowl take your mixer and mix until creamy.

When your mixture is creamy add both of your eggs and gradually add the flour mixture. Once you have that step completed add your chocolate chips and nuts if you desire. After you add the chocolate chips and nuts you are ready to put the cookie dough on the cookie sheet to go into the oven.

Once you have the ingredients mixed together get your cookie scoop and fill it all the way full. Once your cookie dough is in the cookie scoop place it on the cookie sheet and then place the cookie sheet in the oven.

You want to place the cookies in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until brown. The perfect cookies are always the crisp light brown.

Take Cookies Out of Oven

When the 8-10 minutes is over that means the cookies are done and need to cool. When the cookies are cooling you want to take your spatula and go under all the cookies so they are not sticking to the pan. You want to do this so that it is easier to get off the pan when they are done and placed on the cooling rack.

Make sure that you have a couple of cookie sheets so that when one cookie sheet goes into the oven your next cookie sheet full of cookie dough can go in the oven. You do the same process tell all of the cookie dough in the bowl is gone.
