How to Make Juice of Any Fruit With a Steam Juice Extractor
Every summer at the beginning of August there are many apples that are not quite ripe and sometimes have brown spots under our apple tree. Earlier, we made apple sauce of them, but that was a lot of work and if we kept the apple sauce, it would sometimes start to ferment and all this work had been for nothing. So we needed a way to efficiently process a lot of apples. After some research, we thought that working with a juice extractor would be a good way to efficiently process a lot of apples. A juice extractor consists of 4 parts: a lid, a colander, a pot with a sort of upside down funnel and a regular pot. You have to poor water in the pot and you have to place your fruits in the colander, and finaly the juice will end up in the pot with the upsid down funnel. As the whole thing heats up, the water will evaporate and rise to the colander with the fruit in it and the fruit will soften and release juice, which will then sink back down to the middle pot. Let's get started!
Supplies
Ingredients:
- fruit (or vegetables)
- cinnamon (optional)
- sugar or honey (optional)
kitchenware:
- steam juice extractor
- heat source
- jug
- masher(optional)
Wash and Cut the Fruit
The first step is simple: just wash the fruit , remove the brown spats and the coreand cut then in equal pieces. The larger the pieces, the longer it needs to cook. I cutted every apple in four pieces. You should not remove the peel. You can also use the leftovers of a fruit salad or overripe fruit.
Steam the Fruits
Now, you have to poor water in the bottom pot. Next, we put the pot with the funnel on it and then we put the colander on it. In it we put the fruit. Now we put the lid on the colander. Let it boil for 45 minutes - 1 hour
Poor the Juice in the Jug
Now we have to poor the juice in a jug. You can do this with the tube that hangs on the pot.

Your fruit juice is ready! If you want you could season it with cinnamon and honey or suger. You could also use it for making syrup. Enjoy!
