Do you suffer from puffy or baggy eyes? This recipe utilizes herbs with natural anti-inflammatory properties. Daily use will give you the best results, but it does work with a single application.

Ingredients:

Ginger EO

Lavender EO

Rosemary EO

Eucalyptus EO

Lemon EO

Frankincense EO

0.5 parts Rosewater

2 parts Oil infused with Chamomile & Green Tea

Shea butter

0.5 parts Beeswax

Tools:

Double boiler (or makeshift double boiler with sauce pan and glass measuring cup)

Mixing tool (spoon or chopstick)

Measuring cups/spoons

Final container

Green Tea- Improves circulation and blood flow

Shea butter- reduces inflammation and tones skin

Beeswax- solidifies and combines oil and water

Tools:

Double boiler (or makeshift double boiler with sauce pan and glass measuring cup)

Mixing tool (spoon or chop stick)

Infuse Coconut Oil With Herbs

In a bullet blender add equal parts green tea and chamomile. Blend for 5-10 minutes, then strain.

Set Up Double Boiler

Melt Butter and Wax

2 parts Oil infused with Chamomile & Green Tea

1 part Shea butter

0.5 part Beeswax

Add these to the double boiler and melt the butter and wax.

Add Essential Oils

Add essential oils, about 25-35 drops of each.

"Cook" for 20 Minutes

Shea butter has a natural tendency to crystallize while cooling. To avoid this, "cook" in the double boiler for 20 minutes on medium to low heat. Then cool quickly by placing in the fridge.

Whip in Bullet Blender

Continue to mix with stirring tool, and whip with bullet blender until fully whipped.

Apply With Finger

Use your finger to apply to your under eye. Let it sit for 15 minutes before wiping off excess.
