How to Make Power Amplifier Circuit
In this project, we are going to teach you making a simple, cheap and powerful amplifier circuit. A amplifier circuit is a electronics device that convert electronics power to a sound system.
It is a very powerful amplifier circuit and you can make this circuit at home easily. To listen song at home home, office or inside car, track you can use this circuit.
Using only a few number of electronics component you can use this circuit at home easily. You can operate this circuit, using only DC-12v.
The final circuit diagram and design can be seen above. We also thanks to our sponsor JLCPCB https://jlcpcb.com/RTA for sponsoring us PCB for this project.
Supplies
Component List
To make this circuit, you might need some component list. Those component list have to been given below.
Component List -
1. PCBs
2. Transistor – A 1265 N
Transistor – C 2383
3. Capacitor - 4700µf/ 25v
Capacitor - 220µf/ 16v
4. Resistor – 0.47Ω (5 watt)
1 K Ω
330 K Ω
7. Heat Sink
8. Separator
9. Power Supply – DC 12v
10. Sound Speaker
11. Audio Input Cable
Power Amplifier Circuit Design
The schematic of this power amplifier circuit with PCB layout can be seen above. To adjust sound we don’t use any volume. If need, you can adjust sound from your audio input device. You also can use Bluetooth device with this circuit.
Transistor Pin Out
We know that, there are two type of transistor. Every transistor contain 3 legs and this 3 legs have different names. Here we use two different transistor.
A 1265N Pinout – A 1265 is an PNP transistor and if we count it’s leg from left side, then 1st leg “Base” 2nd leg “Collector” and 3rd leg “Emitter”
C2383 – C 2383 is an NPN transistor and if we count it’s leg from left side, then 1st leg “Emitter” 2nd leg “Collector” and 3rd leg “Base”
Connect Transistor
We connect A1265N transistor “Collector” leg with C2383 transistor “Emitter” leg and connect A1265N transistor “Base” leg with C2383 transistor “Collector” leg.
Connect Resistor
Now we connect 1KΩ and 330KΩ resistor with the circuit. Connect 330KΩ resistor with “Base” leg of C2383 transistor and it’s other terminal with “Base” leg of A1265N transistor.
Then we connect 1KΩ resistor with 220µf/ 16v capacitor negative leg.
Connect Capacitor
Then we connect capacitor with the circuit. To make this circuit, totally we use 2 capacitor. We connect 220µf/ 16v capacitor positive leg with “Base” leg of C2383 transistor and it’s other terminal with 1KΩ resistor.
Now we connect 4700µf/ 25v capacitor with the circuit. Connect it’s positive leg with “Emitter” leg of A1265N transistor.
Connect Audio Input Cable
For sound, now we need to connect audio input cable with the circuit. We connect it’s “L/R” cable with empty terminal of 1KΩ resistor and connect audio input “G” cable with “Emitter” leg of C2383 transistor.
Connect Speaker Cable
For audio output we need to connect sound speaker with the circuit. We connect speaker one terminal with 4700µf/ 25v capacitor negative leg and connect capacitor other terminal with “Collector” leg of A1265N transistor.
Connect Power Supply
This is the last step of this amplifier circuit. For power supply, we are using DC 12v. We connect power supply Positive cable with 0.47Ω resistor and it's other terminal with 4700µf/ 25v capacitor positive leg.
Now connect power supply negative cable with “Emitter” leg of C2383 transistor.
Soldering and Cleaning
Neat and perfect soldering is an important part of all kind of PCBs. Since soldering, you should remember that, there should not be any kind of short circuit. After soldering all leg, we cut-off the extra leg of all electronics component.
Final Step
Our circuit is now completely ready for use now. Now we just connect audio input jack with mobile and play music.
Again thanks to JLCPCB for best quality PCBs.
