How to Make Slime! (Saline & Baking Soda Activator)

Hi everyone! Today I am going to show you how to make slime! It's super fun to play with, which is why I decided to share this with all of you! I will have 2 tips for you. Let's get started.

What You Will Need

You will need, a bowl, a spoon, Elmers Glue (I'm using clear glue), food dye (I'm using sky blue), Saline (Make sure your saline says either, buffered solution, boric acid, or sodium borate, somewhere in the ingredients), & Baking Soda. The reason I'm using Saline & Baking Soda for my activator is because neither of them are harmful, unlike the Borax and water solution. Borax is harmful to the eyes and the mouth.

The Base of the Slime

Pour your glue into a bowl, & add some food dye. Now mix your color into the glue. Shaving cream is optional, but it may make your slime fluffier, & make your color a little bit lighter. It turned my blue a nice color.

Time to Activate

Pour some Baking Soda into a small container. Put a couple pinches of Baking Soda into your glue, & then put in Saline. Tip #1 Don't put in too much Baking Soda. Tip #2 Put your Saline in the glue in small amounts at a time. Now we can mix it together. You may work it with your hands when it starts pulling away from the bowl. It may be sticky, but you can add more Saline (If it gets all over your hands, and you can't get it off, ask someone to help you add a little bit more Saline).

The Fun Part

Now that you have fully activated your slime, you can stretch it, poke it, or blow bubbles, and many other things! You can also add glitter if you want. Have fun!
