How to Make Sweet Sound Power Bookshelf Speakers

My microlab b77 dead but the driver units still good. I may try to fixed it but I was boring of the old amplifier IC sound(tda7265) and complicated circuit that drop sound quality.

Remove the old amplifier module and power supply and clean inside the loudspeaker box.

I used 12 volts 5 amps adapter to power the new amplifier unit. I keep the adapter outside the speaker box to prevents interference from switching transformers.

I chose TA2024 board amp because it can output 15 watts@ 4 ohms that match the loud speaker unit spec.

TA2024 was changed old input capacitor to high grade metal film capacitor for clean and smooth high frequency.

The TA 2024 amp board doesn't has volume control so I use the volume from the old amplifier module. Microlab b77 's volume control locate at the lower front of the speaker box so It's easy to adjust volume.

Connect power supply to amp board, connect loud speaker to the amplifier and close the loud speaker box. Close any holes to prevent air leak that cause two speaker sound uneven.

I test sound and I found out that sound from the speakers better by add sound absorbing material a little.

I test and got the good result.

- mid, vocal thicker and stable position

- better image

- better instrument isolation

-better drum dynamic and separation

Bad side

- small"sh" "zh" add to vocal in some track
