Here are the tools and parts you gonna need:

1-pliers

2-cutter

3-solider iron

4-and engine

5-tongue depressor

6- a fast and sturdy glue

7-a gear with a hole that matches your engine[ the number of teeth are optional the more the better]

8-two gears with the same number of teeth and size[ the number of teeth are optional]

9-matches

10-oil

11-syringe

Make the Gear Box

For making the gear box you are need to get through some trial and failure because you need to use your solider iron to create the holes through witch the shafts of your gears are going to pass. After you have created two holes that match the shaft of the gears properly put it on a the remaining part of the tongue depressor or on a another one. And use you solider iron to create the holes with the same distance.

THE BOARDS MUST BE IN A SIZE THAT THE TEETH OF YOUR GEARS GET EXPOSED SO THAT YOU CAN ATTACH THE THE ENGINE.

Place the gears on one of the boards prepared.

IT'S PREFERABLE TO OIL THE GEARS NOW BY SOAKING THE TEETH IN OIL.

Making the Grips

For making the grips you need to cut a tongue depressor in four equal parts as illustrated in the picture.

After creating the grips you need to use a fast and firm glue to stick them on top of the gears and be careful that the glue doesn't contact with the teeth.

For enclosing the gripper add the other second board you have punched holes through. Remove the head of the matches and use them to stick the boards together in a way that it's not too wide to allow the gears to up out nor too narrow to become a burden for the gears to spin.

If you haven't oiled your gears use the syringe to do so.

Adding the Egine

Cut a tongue depressor in two halves. Put the engine on it and try to find a suitable place for it so that the gear on top of your engine contacts with the two gears and then stick one of them to the base of one of the boards.[DON'T PUT IT IN THE CORNER AS ILLUSTRATED NOT IN THE MIDDLE].

Now stick the engine and oil it with the syringe.

If you want to attach this to something else use your solider to make another hole at the bottom of the tongue depressor that the engine is attached.
