How to Make a Bow From Scratch on Which You Can Write With Chalk

Hi, guys today I'll show you how to make a bow from scratch using bastard teak wood, it will just be a fun DIY project for weekends. Enjoy! :)

1x bastard teak wood that is curved like a bow or any other tree wood will also work
1x paracord or nylon rope for the string
1x chalk board spray to write on the bow with chalk the picture of the company I used is attached above
tools
a knife to cut the wood
tips
the chalk board spray can be found at Wal-Mart or any paint shop store.

The Bow is made from Bastard teak the size depends on you and make sure it has a curve like a bow the picture attached shows the bow after it has been painted.

you need to have the chalk board spray to paint it so this is it how it goes first cover it with masking tape and the coat it with the chalk board spray the directions are given on the can it self read them and spray away and then let it dry for at least 1 hour for best results.

After spraying it carve the ends like the picture attached above for the rope.

you can use whatever knot you want I just used the easiest one it's strong and easy to do and after you are finished you have to coat it with chalk board spray for the finishing coat to fill all the blank spots and you are done with your bow now you're done thanks for watching.
