For long time I wanted to build a greenhouse to grow some crops in my backyard. As I live in the extreme south of Brazil, I need to make in a way to get the sun directly and also prevent for cold weather, so I made a foldable greenhouse that can be hanged in the wall when is not in use.

Cutting the Pieces

I used this concrete side of the wall in my backyard to hang the structure. I bought cheap pinus wood and cut pieces like in the pictures. It cant be more simple, if you are brave enough you can made this project whitout electric tools.

Joining the Pieces

I used 2 smal hinges to join the frames to one another, and 3 standard hinges (like the ones in a house frontdoor) to fix the structure in the wall.

Painting and Details

I applied polistain to prevent from weather and used a simple mechanism to hold the structure in the wall when its folded.

The Plastic

I received some new printers at work, and they came in this HDPE plastic that I kept for this project, because its strong enough to endure the bad weather. You will just need to staple the plastic to the frames and make some little holes on the top, to prevent the rainwater to accumulate and tear the plastic.

Finishing

I am very happy with the results and I hope that this project can be useful for other people.
