How to Make a Grom Desk Tidy

Desk tidy.JPG

This is how you can make a desk tidy usful to hold pens and other stationary with a slick grom design.

Step 1

Box Holes.jpeg

For this procedure you will need a 3d printer and a softwear to use it on and polypropylene. I used Autodesk inventor 2017. You start by making a box on the the softwear and extruding making a box with only the bottom remaining.

Step 2

Drawing.png

You next will add in the surf board and the palm trees to do this you will can use the tools on Autodesk Inventor 2017. For the palm tree you can get a clip art image off the internet and trace it into the design. Also draw a line about 2.5mm thick on the top of the cube along the sides just behing the desings.

Step 3

Extruding.png

After drawing you will have to extrude keep in mind you are doing this for all four sides this is the final step on Autodesk Inventor 2017 then you can move on after exturding the shapes. Extrurde the 2.5mm line on the top of the cube.

Step 4

The next step requires you to move on to another softwear this will make you be able to 3D print I used a makerbot 3D printer and so i used the softwear.

Step 5

After 3D printing you will cut up the polypropylene to fit in to the holes up the top. Then you can go and place it into the holes.
