How to Make a Mini Playdough Torri Gate

Japanese’s traditional gate made out of play dough.

Supplies

3D pen art(optional )

Ruler

Playdough (Red and a color of your liking)

Paper

Mix Your Colors

First get your red ,and color of choice(recommend pink).Using your hands mix the to colors together threw all together.After that you should get a reddish- pinkish color.

3D Pen Users /Template

Find a White outline of a torri gate ,and get your 3D pen and trace over it.What I used.It doesn’t have to be perfectly straight or exactly like the picture.But if you don’t have a 3D pen you can use a printed out paper of it and trace it.

Make Your Parts

Begins making your pieces.The legs and cross of the gate should be about 3inches.The head and the short part in the middle should be about 5inches and 1/4 inch.Your may be different sizes or more pieces if you choose a different one.

Final Steps

Gather all your pieces and place them on your template after that glue or combine your playdough, so it’s sticking(You may have to use water if it isn’t sticking) to your other pieces.

Result

Add decorations, straighten up the lines of your gate,touch it up, and put more details for the best result.You can add a medal line piece to help make the gate stay up.

when it dries up,

place it in your garden,dresser,table-anywhere you wanna put it if you want.
