How to Make a POLYGLOT
Ever wanted to learn a new language on your own, but never succeeded? Here is the solution! The POLYGLOT is a robot who teaches you new words and grammar of a foreign language, but also enters dialogues and counteracts postponement. In this instructable I will show you how to make the skin of a French teaching POLYGLOT

Thermoforming
The body parts of the robot are made of PS 2mm. This material is thermoformed with selfmade molds out PUR foam.
Printing Stickers
The stickers are based on static electricity. So when you paste the sticker, there will be no glue when you would pull it of. I printed these in a specialized companion. You can find the illustrator file below.

Head Holders
Now let's start making it. First of all, you take the two head holders and connect them with two clicks. Make sure the pins are at the same side. Thereafter, pin this into the grid. The longest holders needs to fit in the 13th row, the smaller one in the 10th row
Modules
Take the two Opsoro eye modules and put them on the grid as showed in the picture. Do the same thing for the servomodules. Make sure the cables are facing downwards.
Head
Now you can put the head on the grid. On both sides of the head are holes. Click the head on the grid by putting the pins of the head holders through these holes
Mouth
The robot needs to teach you a language, so the robot needs to speak. Let's give him a mouth! Pull the sleeve over the lasercutted mouth and put the vines in the provided holes. Thereafter, put the extensions over the vines. Now you can put the vines in the small holes of the head. Make sure they connect with the servo modules. Tighten the connection with a screwdriver.
Hat
Time for the hat! Take the two hat holders and two clicks and assembly them the same way as the head holders. Thereafter, put this in the grid, just above the head. Click the beret in the hat holders.
Foot
Now take the foot and the two supporting legs. Click the legs in the provided slots, so they stand straight. Thereafter, slide the grid into the slots of the supporting legs. The robot is now facing forwards.
Characteristics
The last step is adding characteristics. Put the chest under the head. Now you can customize the robot. Take the stickers and pull of the foil. Paste them on the head or chest.
Your POLYGLOT is ready to use!
Bonne chance :)
