How to Make a PVC Vawt Wind Turbine

This is a vertical wind turbine which can rotate at a high speed even when the air flow is normal.

4 inches pvc pipe in diameter

L bracket with nut and bolts

Round MDF board

Screws

PVC cap x 2

MDF board 2x2 = 2

wooden pieces 33 inches = 4

ball bearing x 2

Bike axle x 2

Cut out the PVC pipe at 32 inches in length by measuring it with the cardboard for straight cut.

Cut around 4 pieces

take a string and cover it all around the pipe and measure it is center mark it there,then place the wooden piece and mark a line and start cutting in straight line with the rotary tool cutting all the 4 pipes into 8 pieces cut from center.

Place the L bracket on the edge of the pvc pipe piece and drill a hole and place nut bolts on both areas same with the other end repeating in all pieces.

Place the bike axle in one part and bolt on the other part , Place the pvc end cap on the center of the round mdf board ,

Start placing pvc pipe pieces on the edges of the round mdf and secure it with screws completing the whole 8 sets on both parts of mdf board.

I have make the whole structure to support this rotating pieces of turbine with mdf board on both top and bottom with 33 inches wooden pieces to support , make a hole enough to place the ball bearing on both parts then put the rotating part inside of this structure , by using ground small fan it start rotating fast I turned off the ground fan and it still rotating fast with only the ceiling fan ,i place some board around outside the structure it starts so spin really fast achieving around 300 rpm , I didn't get the chance to test in the open area because it still needs some work left of magnets and coil to generate electricity it is just a makeshift concept of high rpm rotating vawt wind turbine I will upload it's second part where I will place flaps to increase it is speed even more..
