How to Make a Paper Crown
In this intructable, I am going to teach you how to make an origami paper crown.
Supplies
For this activity, all you will need is normal, 8.5 x 11-inch printer paper (colored paper is optional) and scissors. Depending on your head size, you will need around 9 to 11 pieces of paper.
Step 1
Gather your materials. For this activity, all you will need is normal, 8.5 x 11-inch printer paper (colored paper is optional) and scissors. Depending on your head size, you will need around 9 to 11 pieces of paper.
Step 2
Take your piece of paper that you’re going to use first, and fold it in half, hot-dog style. Using the folded line as a reference, cut this piece of paper in half, using your scissors.
Step 3
Fold the bottom of your paper into a triangle as shown in the image.
Step 4
Fold the triangle that you just made up as shown in the image.
Step 5
Fold that triangle that you have across as shown in the image.
Step 6
Cut off the extra rectangle that you have at the end.
Step 7
Open up all the folds that you have made previously, revealing a long rectangle.
Step 8
Cut that rectangle in half down the middle-folded line that shows, as shown in the image.
Step 9
Fold the two corners into the middle of one of the halves of the rectangle that you just cut in half as shown in the image.
Step 10
Fold the top piece that is sticking out down as shown in the image.
Step 11
Fold the pointed end up so the top of it is touching the straight edge as shown in the image.
Step 12
Fold the whole bottom piece up, as shown in the image.
Step 13
Repeat steps 2-12 on as many pieces of paper that you need to make a crown that would fit around your head.
Step 14
Connect all the ends of the triangle figures that you made as shown in the image and make it into a circle so you make a crown.
Step 15
Enjoy your finished crown!
