How to Make a Pipe Cleaner Flower

I made a pipe cleaner flower, I made this because I wanted to gift a loved one something handmade. This pipe cleaner flower is easy to make and fast to make. I also wanted to help Jiromy a 9th grader make something for her loved one. This a 9-step tutorial if you want to make just a flower. It will be an 11-step tutorial if you make a tag. You need 2 tools. Which are wire cutters and a hot glue gun. I found inspiration on Youtube.

• 9 blue pipe cleaners
• 1 yellow pipe cleaner
• A hot glue gun
• 1 glue stick
• A wire cutter
• 1 Skewer

1. Grab two blue pipe cleaners

• Using one out of the two pipe cleaners

1. Be careful, when using the wire cutter make sure your finger isn't in the way
2. Fold it in half
3. Use the wire cutters to cut through the middle
4. After cutting the pipe cleaner
5. Put both pipe cleaners on the side

• Using the second pipe cleaner

1. Fold it less than halfway on the left side
2. Fold the right side to reach the height of the left side

• Grab your wire cutters

1. Cut through the middle of the pipe cleaner
2. Cut the middle of the remaining pipe cleaner

• You should be left with three medium-sized pipe cleaners

• Grab your remaining pipe cleaner from earlier

1. Use your index finger to measure the length
2. Grab one of the three medium-sized pipe cleaners
3. Wrap the pipe cleaner around twice

• Repeat 2x

• After you wrapped all the medium-sized pipe cleaners around the big one

1. Grab both ends of the pipe cleaner and put them together
2. Using the longer end of the pipe cleaner wrap it around the small end

• You should have a petal, once you have a petal

1. curl the top
2. and fluff out the petal

• Repeat 4x

• After repeating the last step 4x, it should look like a flower

1. Grab a hot glue gun, a skewer, and a yellow pipe cleaner
2. Wrap the yellow pipe cleaner around the skewer

• Once you're done wrapping the pipe cleaner around the skewer

1. Grab your hot glue gun
2. Use the glue gun to add a small drop of glue to the yellow pipe cleaner
3. Place the petal upside down were you placed the glue

• Repeat this 4x

• Grab your hot glue gun

1. Add glue around the flower
2. Wait until the glue cools, so you avoid being burned
3. Flip the flower over

• You're done!

• Open the Silhouette Studio app on your device

• You will find the drawing tool on your left side (it will have a rectangle shape)
• You will choose the square option 
• Draw the same depending on how big you want it (each square on the graph is an inch)
• Once you have your square you will choose the circle option and create it on the edge of the square that you created at first.
• (You are free to write anything on your tag)
