How to Make a Raspberry Pie With a Raspberry Pi
As an engineer working day and night with robots and programs, I’m tired of being called “Cooking Disabled” by my girlfriend, so I decided to make a real Raspberry Pie using my technical ability with Raspberry Pi, on 14/3, which is called Pi Day, or also called White Day in East Asia. Wish me luck at giving my girlfriend a surprise!!!
Ingredients
For Flaky Pie Crust
flour | 41/2 cups |
butter | 60 g |
water | 6 oz |
sugar | 2 tsp |
6-inch pie pan | 1 |
For Filling
pitaya | 70 g |
blueberry | 70 g |
raspberry | 300 g |
sugar | 1/2 tbsp |
water | 2 tbsp |
cornstarch | 1/3 cup |
egg | 1 |
Others
robotic arm | 1 |
raspberry Pi (board) | 1 |
Mega Pi (board) | 1 |
aluminium alloy | 700g |
Soften the Butter (60 G) at Room Temperature
Add Flour (41/2 Cups) and Sugar (2 Tsp) Into the Butter
Mix the Butter, Flour and Sugar Together Into Paste
Add the Water(6 Oz) and Mix Until a Dough Forms, then Take Half of the Dough and Press the Dough Gently Into the Pie Dish. Bake for 10 Minutes at 356℉
For the Filling, Mix Pitaya, Raspberry, Blueberry Together With Cornstarch and Milk
Put the Filling Onto Crust
Take the Rest of the Dough and Roll Out Thin to Cover on the Pie Fillings
I Guess You Are All Wondering: Where Is the Covering Crust? It's the Time to Show Our Secret Weapon: Chinese Noodle!
Weave the Chinese Noodle Onto the Pie Then Brush the Top With Egg Wash
Bake for 18 Minutes at 392℉
And More
Ok, I have to confess that the Raspberry Pi and the robot are just used to act cute, but with camera module and robot Raspberry Pi is becoming much more interesting, have a good Pi day! Please check out the video. After all, it’s not easy for a robot to shop at Walmart LOL.
