How to Make a Ring!

Hi and welcome! By reading this, and following the next 10 easy steps, you will be able to create your own ring! To complete step 1, you want to gather all of your tools.

You will need, scissors, pliers, beads, 20g wire and a ring sizer but anything that is round and around the same size of your finger will work too.

For step 1, we are going to cut and shape the wire! To do this, grab your scissors and wire. Measure 8 in of your wire and cut it with the scissors. Make sure the wire is flat and doesn't have any small bumps in it.

Step 2 is simple, all you need to do for this step is pick out your favorite bead! Make sure it is a shape and size you want. Put the bead on the wire and center it in the middle.

For step 3, take your wire with the bead on it and wrap it three times around your size on the ring sizer. If you don't have a ring sizer, use something else round, like the cap from a nail polish bottle or an expo marker.

Now, you need to take the wire off of the ring sizer and use your pliers to hold together all of the wires.

For step 5, take the excess wire that didn't wrap around a fourth time and wrap it around itself untill there is no more loose wire like it shows in the pictures.

Now you need to cut a separate piece of wire. About 6 in long. take the new wire and wrap it about half way from the bead up until you get to the bead.

Once you get to the bead and can not wrap around the wire anymore, wrap the wire once around the bead fully so you come back to the side that has already been wrapped.

Now, wrap the wire around the wire that the bead is on once, go under the bead with the wire and come up on the side that has not been wrapped and start to wrap it.

Almost done! Cut the rest of the wire once you have wrapped it as much as you want.

Make sure all the wires are flat and not sharp or pointy so that nothing cuts you.
