How to Make a Secret Plant Hiding Spot

I'm going to teach you how to make a cool, secret hiding compartment in a plant pot! This is a fun thing to do and can be useful for hiding important items like money.

Now you need to gather your supplies. You will need a pot of any size, dirt to fill up the pot, tape, a large spoon or spade, a small jar or container with a lid, a large plant for the pot, and a smaller plant for the secret compartment. Now you are ready to start.

First, you take your pot and set it down. Fill the pot up with dirt about 5/6 of the way. Spread the dirt evenly in the pot and prepare an area for your plant by making a small indent in the center of the pot.

Now you will take your larger plant and plant it in the area you prepared in the center of the pot. The plant can be anything you want. Cover the roots of the plant with dirt and pack them in. Your potted plant should now look like a normal plant.

Now, it is time to make your secret compartment. You will take your container, tape, small plant, and lid. To start, you will tape the roots of the plant to the side of the container so that the plant is standing up. Make sure your container can still open and close so items can be placed inside.

Now it is time to put everything together. You will take your main pot and make a hole in the dirt that is the size of your container. Place your secret container in the hole with the plant and lid facing up. Cover the container with dirt until you completely bury the container lid and the roots of the plant. Your pot should now look like it has two plants in it.

Now that you are all finished you are ready to use the hiding place. If you need to hide something like money you can find the smaller plant and pull out the container. You can unscrew the lid and put your money or object inside. Now you can rebury the container. Whenever you need to find the secret container you know it is under the small plant!
