Intro:

In the many years of waxing and brushing my skis, I have been pained by my brushes being everywhere. So I came up with the idea of a simple ski brush holder made from a little cardboard and duct tape. This tutorial will teach you how to make this simple, but effective ski brush holder.

Supplies

For this simple ski brush holder you will need:

  • 3 pieces of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 5 inches tall.
  • 1 piece of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 1 inch tall.
  • 1 piece of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 2 inches tall.
  • A roll of duct tape.
  • Scissors to cut the duct tape.

Form the Stand

  • Cut off 3 pieces of duct tape using the scissors the same width as the pieces of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 5 inches tall.
  • Using those pieces of duct tape form a pyramid with the 3 pieces of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 5 inches tall just like in the pictures.

Add the Lip

  • Now that you have formed the stand you want to add a lip to hold the brushes.
  • Place the piece of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 2 inches tall on the front of the pyramid/stand with 2 pieces of duct tape the same size as previously used. This is shown in the pictures.
  • Attach the last piece of cardboard as shown in the pictures to the front of the piece of cardboard 9 and 3/4 inches wide by 2 inches tall. Attach this with 2 pieces of duct tape the same size as the ones used previously.

Grab Your Brushes . . .

Now you have finished and can use the ski brush holder to never lose your brushes again!
