How to Make an Arduino Radio Controlled Robot

I've always wanted to make a remote control robot car, but always thought it was too hard or complicated. A few weeks ago I finally did some real research and realized that it is much easier to make than I thought and is tons of fun! I decided to make this guide to share what I learned.

This robot is fun, easy to make, and will teach a few new skills along the way. It uses an Arduino, Motors, and a Hobby RC transmitter and receiver.

-Soldering Iron: http://amzn.com/B000AS28UC This is the one I use and I'd recommend it if you plan to continue with this hobby. Otherwise there are cheaper options around stores and online. If you are not comfortable soldering or just really don't want to buy an iron, you may want to try out hot glue instead. Twist a tip of the wire around the motor lead and hot glue the lead to the motor. This is a pretty sketchy way to attach wires, so be very careful and check the leads often.
