How to Make an "Out of This World" Telescope

Have you ever wanted to make an Out of this World Instructable? Well, now you can! Join me in making a fun telescope out of household materials you can find any time. This is a fun activity to do with friends and family! It only takes about a half hour to make, so get making now! Let's dive in!

• Empty paper towel roll
• Scotch tape
• Colored paper
• Scissors
• Markers*
• Glitter glue*

*Optional

Using tape, attach one side of your paper to the cardboard roll so it will not slide off of it.

Tightly roll your paper around the roll and tape your paper on the outside of your telescope (as shown in the photo). Your paper should now be securely attached on to your paper towel roll. If it is not, add more tape.

If you have more than 1 piece of paper, repeat steps 2 and 3 to attach the rest of your pieces. the picture above is what my product looked like after I attached my 2 pieces.

This step is completely optional. You can leave your telescope as it is, or you can add details to it. To add your details, use your markers and glitter glue to decorate it. The pictures of my final product are above (one with glitter glue and one without).
