How to Model a Pigeon in Autodesk Maya Event

We hosted an event at the School of Visual Arts for Freshmen to learn how to model a pigeon in Autodesk Maya.

We reserved a classroom equipped with a projector and PCs to showcase our demonstration and conduct our workshop.

First, the Autodesk Ambassadors at my school held a meeting to discuss details of the workshop including the date, theme, and location. After brainstorming ideas, we voted and decided on the "How to Model a Pigeon" concept. Tasks were then divided among the team, and I was assigned to design the flyer.

Once I completed the flyer, I contacted the 3D Animation and Visual Effects department to distribute it through their upcoming email announcements. Additionally, we promoted the event through word of mouth.

Finally, we hosted the workshop! Day of the event, we encouraged students, especially Freshmen, to attend. One ambassador led the demonstration, while the rest of us went around the room to answer questions. At the end of the workshop, we gathered all the completed pigeon models and took a group photo. Overall, the event was successful and I enjoyed hosting the event!
