How to Out-wit the Squirrels

A quick, easy and relatively cheap way to outwit the squirrels from getting to your bird feeder. What you need: some type of pole (I used a shepherd's crook), a dome baffle (fairly cheap at Lowes or Home Depot) and a clamp attached to the pole under the dome baffle (I used an end clamp from a barbell). Voila! The clamp is secured to the pole but the dome simply rests on the clamp so when the squirrels try to get on top, the dome rocks and the squirrels have nothing solid to grab on to. I saw something similar at a bird store selling for $26.00. I think I probably spent $12.00.
