How to Properly Tie a Trilene Fishing Knot.
Hi... My name is Nick. I am here to help those who don't have much experience with fishing. Today, I am going to show you the skills on how to tie a strong and sturdy Trilene fishing knot. I have 5 easy steps to teach you how to do so properly and efficiently.
Supplies
- 1 Hook it does not matter the type
- any kind/Brand of fishing line.
The First step is to have a lure and some fishing line on hand and ready; The weight or thickness of the line does not matter as this knot is very versatile .
The second step is to slide your line through the hooks eye and repeat, re-entering the line from the same direction, forming a double loop that you have to pinch and hold for a later step.
The Third step is to wrap the end piece of the line around the standing line four to five times, moving away from the hook each time you spin the line around it.
The fourth step is to pass the end of the line back through the double loop that you were holding near the hooks eye. Make sure and pull the knot tight against the hooks eye and trim the end of the line down to the knot
The fifth and final step is to check the line above the knot upon completing an looking for any fray age on the line.
