How to Put Your Computer to Sleep Using Command Prompt!!
This Instructable will show you how to put your computer to sleep using command prompt

Step 1: Open Command Prompt
1. Go to Start
2. Type Command Prompt
3. Select Run As Administrator
- If you don't see Run As Administrator, Right Click on Command Prompt and Select Run As Administrator
4. Do you want to Allow This App to Make Changes to your Device, Click Yes (Windows 10)
5. Click in Command Prompt Window
Step 2: Type Command #1
1. Type powercfg /hibernate off
2. Press Enter
Step 3: Type Command #2
1. Type RUNDLL32.EXE powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0
2. Press Enter
- Once you Press Enter your Screen will go Black and your Computer will be in Sleep Mode
- To Turn your Computer back On, simply Press any Key on your Keyboard
Step 4: Turn Computer Back On
1. Press any Key on your Keyboard
Step 5: Close Command Prompt
1. Click on the X in the Top Right Hand Corner of Command Prompt
