How to Repot Aloe Vera

In these instructions they will explain what supplies you need and how to properly repot an aloe vera plant.

Supplies

Aloe vera plant, cactus potting soil, larger pot with 3-4 drainage holes, saucer to catch water from drainage, garden spade, pruning shears or scissors

Separate roots if your aloe vera is large with your fingers but don't cut them off of the plant.

Remove aloe vera an separate any pups.

Remove any dead or rotten branches by cutting them off.

Lay plants separate and flat for roots to dry overnight.

Place 2-3 inch (depending on your pot) of dirt inside pot. Place aloe in the pot.

Cover roots with dirt. Do not add water for 1 week after repotting.
