How to Revamp a Mirror

Since i love using mirrors of all shapes and sizes to decorate my place, my friend asked me if I wanted this old mirror she had found at a thrift store and was no longer going to use. How could I refuse a free mirror?? It was quite dirty and I really didn't love the color of it. Since I'm starting to jump on the Shabby Chic decor train, I decided I could try to revamp this mirror by painting it with a gray chalk paint to give it a sort of distressed look.
