- Overlap the ends of lines to be joined. Take the end of the line from the left and double back and make 3 to 4 wraps around both lines and through the loop that was formed. Pull tag end to tighten.
- Repeat with the end of the line on the left making the same number of wraps unless tying with braided line in which you should double the number of wraps.

- You have now tied two Uni knots. Pull the standing lines in opposite direction to slide the two knots together.
- Clip the tag ends close to the knot.

- Make sure that you leave 12-15 inches of line through the hook after threading it through
- The extra line is where the dropshot weight will be attached

- With the extra line, create a loop near the hook
- Take the hook and put it through the loop 3-5 times
- Pull the tag ends until the knot is almost tight
- WET the knot before cinching tight
- The hook should be perpendicular to your line

Attaching the Dropshot Weight

- At the end of the extra line that is left, thread the line through the metal spacer that is located at the top of the weight
- Pull the line to make sure the weight is secure to the line
- Cut the excess line of off the weight

Choose a Quality Soft Plastic Worm

- Use light, natural colored soft plastics for clear water or sunny days
- Use very bright or very dark soft plastics for dirty water or cloudy days

- Make sure your hook point is pointing directly into the worms nose
