If you have an Amlogic S905 Android TV box and want to convert your physical movie DVDs/Blu-rays to digital H.265 video files so that you can have your Amlogic S905 TV box to play them through USB or hard disk, here I’ll show you how to do that:
Download a DVD/Blu-ray to H.265 Converter
Click here to download Pavtube ByteCopy which enables you to decrypt/rip your DVDs/Blu-rays and convert to H.265 MP4/MKV files with great quality, just a few clicks.
Load DVD/Blu-ray
Install and get Pavtube ByteCopy run, then click the “Load file(s)” button to import media data on the DVD/Blu-ray disc that you insert into your optical disc drive beforehand.
Set the Output Format to H.265 MP4 or MKV
Press the “Format:” pull-down menu, move your mouse over the “HD Video” option and then select the “H.265 HD Video (*.mp4)” or “MKV HD Video (*.mkv)” as your output format.
Note, when you choose the MKV container format, since the default codec is H.264, you need to click the “Settings” button to change the codec to H.265 manually.
Start to Rip DVD/Blu-ray
Hit on the “Convert” button, and the ByteCopy will immediately begin ripping the DVD/Blu-ray whilst offers you the detailed progress info during the process. Typically, a two hour DVD can be processed in 20 minutes.
