How to Season and Cook a Pork Shoulder
this instructable will walk you through successfully seasoning and cooking a pork shoulder
Supplies
~8-pound pork shoulder
~ground black pepper
~goya abodo all purpose seasoning
~goya sofrito tomato cooking paste
~minced garlic
~salt
~rosemary
~thyme
~garlic cloves
~olive oil
~plastic wrap
~a large bowl and a small bowl

Step 1
take off the wrapping on the pork and rinse the pork thoroughly
Step 2
get 8-10 garlic cloves, rinse them, cut off the ends, then cut them into slivers
Step 3
in a bowl combine 1/2 cup of olive oil , a tablespoon of garlic , a tablespoon adobo , 1/2 tablespoon of pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of salt ,and 2 teaspoons of sofrito , then stir

puncture 20 half-inch holes in the pork, in those holes put in the slivers of garlic
Step 5
pour the paste on the park and rub it in
Step 6
put another 2 teaspoons of sofrito on top of the pork and rub it
Step 7
get about 4-5 leaves each of thyme and rosemary
Step 8
pull off some off the leaves of the rosemary and thyme and put them on both sides of the pork and put the rest on top
Tip: ( for best results cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 24 hours )

preheat oven to 350 degrees

put the pork in a roasting pan and cook for 4 hours and 30 minutes until crispy

take out of the oven and then you’re done !
