first download discord ether though there website here is a link Discord or through the app store on your phone.

If you are registering you account then make sure to put your email account that you use in there. also your age will be used for servers that are nsfw to allow you into them. after you register make sure you put the same information into the login page.

Servers are what the community of discord is all about they allow for groups to come together freely. you can google other discord servers to join and you can get invited to other ones via a link.
Servers have 2 main components; one is text channels shown by the # and the other is voice and video channels shown by the volume or voice icon. text channels are like texting on the phone text groups while voice channels are like skype.
