How to Set a YouTube Video As Your Desktop Background (kind Of!) for Windows 7

With this Instructable, you can easily set a live YouTube video as your wallpaper.

Find a YouTube Video

First, find a YouTube video or playlist. Videos will play once but if you select a playlist and set it to loop, it will play each song then repeat.

Enter Fullscreen

Next, click the button in the lower right corner of the video. This will take you to fullscreen mode.

Set As Background

Next, press and hold the Windows key. Then, tap the Tab key until you arrive the window you would like to work in in the carousel. Release the Windows key when you arrive there.

You're Done!

Now, you can work in the window you selected or move to another as your video(s) play.
