Plugin the Monitor, Turn It On.
Plugin the monitor into the outlet and make sure it is connected to the power.
Plugin Your HDMI Cable to Your Monitor, and MacBook.
Plugin your HDMI to your MacBook and to the Monitor, then open your MacBook, log in.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST....
Go to system preferences (settings) on your MacBook, click “Displays”, go to “Arrangement” now instead of using the second monitor as a mirror Displays we will use it as a second screen (monitor), so we will click “mirror Displays” OFF check box to stop it from acting as a mirror, then the screen will change too as a second monitor. You can arrange where you want your monitor where u can move your mouse to the second monitor easily, it could be either on the left/ right, up/ down, or even in the corner. From there, you can enjoy your second monitor, however, the sound might be coming from the monitor if there is a speaker on the monitor or the MacBook itself. therefore, I will teach you how to control your sound settings once you are done with the steps of making the monitor a second screen.

Now you can enjoy your time listening from whichever monitor you want to listen from. Enjoy it!!
