How to Share and Collect Household (Game) Collections

In my time playing the game, Household, I have had a lot of people saying they do not know how to collect the postings from other players for collection items. This is my attempt to make things a little easier for them. It may seem to be complicated, but honestly, it is not. Once you have done it a few times, it will be "second nature" and you will start to wonder what took you so long to do it.

If there is anything you don't understand, please let me know and I will try to clarify. Thank you so much for taking the time to look/use the tutorial.

Now ... let's get started getting those collection items!

1. Open up the collection window within the game. Go to the collection you want to exchange & click the "exchange" button (NOT the "exchange all").

After you click on the exchange button. This window will pop up.

Click Share and this window will pop up. Click Share on this window.

Now ... Hold down the SHIFT key and click at the top of the page on the word "HOME" to take you to your FB Home Page.

On the left side of your home page, put your pointer over the words NEWS FEED, then

click MOST RECENT. Let the page reload with the most recent posts showing from top to bottom.

Close the Household game page. This should leave only your home page open. On the home page, click in the box with the "f" in front of the blank space and the magnifying glass at the end and type in these words:
I've managed to collect and exchange the [name of collection] (For example, I've managed to collect and exchange the Winter Fun Collection Or I've managed to collect and exchange the Chili Collection. You get the idea.)

Your home page will the display ONLY the posts associated with collecting and exchanging the the collection you specified. On each post, click on the picture of the farmer looking at the stamp while holding down the SHIFT key. Release the SHIFT KEY and the HH game window will open in a new tab.

When the HH game page opens, wait until you get the pop up telling you which item you received of the collection, then click OK. Close that HH game window after you click CLOSE and go to the next collection post on your home page.

Repeat Step #8 on each post you want to collect, making sure you close the previous HH game window. If you leave it open, you will get the message that someone else has tried to sign into you game. That doesn't cause problems with collecting but you'll wind up with a LOT of game windows open with that error message in the tabs you have already used & collected.
