How to Tie a Fisherman's Knot

In this project it is going to teach you how to tie a fisherman's knot. You will need to know how to do this if you are going to go fishing or if you like fishing and want to try it out. It is a very easy and simple knot to tie and doesn't take long at all. All you need is a fish hook and your line or a little piece line maybe like 5-10 inches if you want to practice first.

Supplies

  1. fish hook ( any kind )
  2. Line

Get Your Fish Hook and Line

go and grab or buy a fish hook and line.

Put Your Line Through the Hole of the Hook

now take the end of your line and put it through the hole at the top of the hook

Twist

now make sure you line is evenly pulled through and take one of the string and twist it around the other part of the string and twist and wrap it around 6 time.

Put One Piece of the String in the Hole

once you twisted the string 6 times take that same piece of string and put it through the hole at the bottom of the twist you made

Put Through 2 Hole

once you put you one piece of string through the hole your should be another wide hole from when you went to go put the string through the first hole

Pull Tight

not pull you knot down to close to the hook and pull as tight as you can
