How to Use Plugins Within Reaper DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).

Follow these instructions to learn how to use plugins within Reaper. Plugins are used to manipulate and edit audio when using digital audio workstations. A previous installation of Reaper is required for this guide. Refer to the pictures associated with each step for clarification on instructions.

Locate the Reaper Application on Your Desktop.

Note: This step requires the installation of Reaper before starting.

Double-click on the Application to Launch Reaper.

Click on the File Tab in the Top Left Corner.

Click on New Project to Open a Clean Project.

Double-click in the Open Space on the Left to Start a New Track.

Note: This can also be done by clicking the insert top in the top left and then clicking on track.

Click on the FX Button Located on the Right Side of the New Track.

Double-click on the Desired Plugin Within the Popup Box.

Note: Any plugin can be used for this step. I used H-EQ Mono (Waves) for demonstration.

Adjust Settings Within Plugin to Taste Once It Opens.
